Nostre Païs Red 2023

This cuvée reflects our pursuit of elegance, purity, and minerality. We favor the complexity of a blend drawn from our most limestone-rich terroirs rather than a pronounced oak influence. In 2023, the red wines benefited from a ten-day pause that allowed optimal tannin maturation and gave the cellar team—who had been working nonstop in rotating shifts since day one—a brief chance to catch their breath. Cool summer nights played a crucial role in developing deep color and finely textured tannins. The reds display a complex, nuanced sensory profile and show excellent aging potential.

Appearance

Deep red with violet highlights

Nose

Pure and complex, the black fruit, cherry, and hot stones, are released with a bit of aeration.

Taste

The dense & velvety body fills the palate and reveals notes of cacao, dried herbs and pencil lead. The fresh and fruity finish is heightened by mineral notes and fine tannins.
